Part A Disclosures
What FFOI is, how its ecosystem is structured, and the terms on which its certification, membership and associations operate.
1. Legal Status & Government Independence
Finance Forum of India (FFOI) is a company registered under the applicable laws of India as a Section 8 company with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India.
FFOI is an independent, non-governmental organisation. It is not affiliated with, owned, controlled, sponsored, endorsed by, or otherwise officially associated with the Government of India or any of its ministries, departments, agencies, statutory bodies, or public authorities.
The use of the word “India” in the name Finance Forum of India is descriptive of the organisation's geographical scope and does not imply any government affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, patronage, or official status.
2. Regulatory Recognition
FFOI and FFET are not approved or recognised by, or affiliated with, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
FFOI certifications and FFET training programmes are not AICTE-approved qualifications. Where an AICTE approval is referenced in connection with a partner institution, that approval belongs to the institution alone.
3. Nature of FFOI's Activities
FFOI primarily operates as a certification and assessment body, with activities spanning professional certification, assessment, research, thought leadership, membership, and financial literacy initiatives.
Any certification, assessment, membership, programme, recognition, or credential offered by FFOI is subject to the applicable eligibility criteria, assessment requirements, policies, and terms prescribed by FFOI.
4. FFOI Certification vs. Training
Training and certification are separate activities.
Participation in, attendance of, or successful completion of a training programme conducted by a third-party or authorised training entity does not automatically constitute FFOI certification.
Where applicable, FFOI certification is subject to the relevant FFOI assessment and certification requirements.
5. FFET — Authorised Training Entity
FFET is an authorised entity by FFOI, pursuant to the applicable arrangement/authorisation between the entities.
FFET may be permitted to use the FFOI name, brand, or logo only in connection with listed, approved, or authorised offerings, and subject to the terms governing such use.
FFOI does not itself deliver or operate every training programme conducted by FFET. Any training delivery, faculty, infrastructure, commercial terms, learner services, or representations made by FFET remain the responsibility of FFET unless expressly stated otherwise.
6. Finance Forum Literacy Foundation
Activities undertaken through the Finance Forum Literacy Foundation (FFLF) are focused on financial literacy, awareness, and community-oriented education.
FFLF activities should not be interpreted as constituting FFOI certification or professional qualification unless expressly identified as such.
7. Separate Entity & Liability
FFOI, FFET, CareerProf, and other entities operating within or alongside the broader finance and education ecosystem are separate legal and operating entities, unless expressly stated otherwise.
The use of FFOI's name, certification, assessment framework, logo, or association by another entity should not be interpreted as FFOI assuming responsibility for that entity's independent business operations, commercial commitments, representations, services, employment commitments, or liabilities.
8. CareerProf / Ecosystem Disclosure
CareerProf operates independently within the broader ecosystem and is responsible for its own services, representations, commercial arrangements, and operations.
Neither FFOI nor FFET shall be construed as being responsible for independent claims, commitments, services, representations, or obligations made by CareerProf unless expressly documented and authorised by the relevant entity.
9. Membership, Assessment & Certification
Membership, participation, assessment, evaluation, recognition, and certification by FFOI are subject to applicable eligibility requirements and the policies prescribed by FFOI from time to time.
Any reference to FFOI certification, assessment, recognition, or association should not be interpreted as a guarantee of employment, promotion, salary, admission, business opportunity, or any other specific outcome.
10. Partner / Institution Association
Any association between FFOI and an institution, organisation, university, corporate, training entity, or other partner is subject to the applicable agreement, assessment, due diligence, approval, or other requirements determined by FFOI.
Such association should not automatically be interpreted as an endorsement of all activities, claims, products, or services of the associated organisation.
11. Use of Name, Logo & Brand
The FFOI name, logo, certification marks, intellectual property, and other brand assets may only be used with appropriate authorisation and in accordance with applicable brand and usage guidelines.
Unauthorised use of FFOI's name, logo, certification, assessment status, or association is not permitted.

The limits of what FFOI's communications, certifications and associations promise, and what governs when terms differ.
12. Placement & Employment Disclaimer
References to career opportunities, placement, recruitment, recruiters, employment outcomes, or industry connections are provided for informational purposes and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of employment, salary, placement, internship, promotion, or career progression.
Any employment decision remains solely with the relevant employer and is subject to its independent selection and recruitment processes.
13. General Information Disclaimer
Information published across FFOI's websites, social media platforms, publications, presentations, or other communication channels is intended for general informational purposes.
While reasonable efforts may be made to maintain accuracy and currency, FFOI does not warrant that all information is complete, current, or error-free at all times.
Users should independently verify information relevant to their individual circumstances before relying upon it.
14. No Implied Guarantee
Nothing contained in any FFOI communication, programme description, certification, partnership announcement, assessment, or promotional material should be construed as a guarantee of any particular academic, professional, financial, employment, or commercial outcome.
15. Precedence of Executed Agreements
Where FFOI, FFET or any associated entity has entered into an executed agreement with an institution, organisation or individual, the terms of that agreement prevail over any information published on this website or in any brochure, presentation or promotional material.
